You can ring the practice to request a repeat prescription (09) 376 5621 or order one through Manage My Health
Important Information
Standard prescriptions will be processed within 2 working days (48 hours)
Urgent prescriptions will be processed within 1 working day (24 hours) - please call reception if you require your prescription more urgently.
If you have run out of medication and we are closed,, please visit your pharmacy as they may be able to supply an emergency 3 day supply without a new prescription.
Our Policy
All patients on long term medications must be seen within a three or six month interval - please discuss this with your doctor.
For patients with stable long term conditions monitored within medical guidelines, your doctor may advise that a repeat prescription can be issued without an appointment. This is at the discretion of your doctor.
You may be asked to make an appointment before a prescription can be repeated. We will contact you if an appointment is necessary or if we require further information to issue a prescription
In cases where an appointment is required and you are running low or have run out of medications, we can a provide short term script to cover until your scheduled appointment date. Please contact reception to arrange.
We will not routinely contact you when your prescription is ready to pick up
Repeat prescription fees will still be incurred for prescriptions not collected or lost
